New South Wales Police Charge Four Men Over Suspected Global Satanic Child Sex Abuse Material Ring
NSW police announced they have exposed an international satanic child sex abuse material ring and charged four Australian men for their alleged involvement.
Investigation Particulars
Detectives from the special victims unit indicated that as part of Strike Force Constantine, an investigation into the online distribution of child sexual abuse material involving ritualistic elements, they dismantled a Sydney-based organization.
Police alleged the network was actively engaged in possessing, distributing and facilitating this material through a website that was "administered internationally".
Law Enforcement Operations
Detectives, accompanied by the riot squad, executed 6 property searches in the Waterloo area, Ultimo district and Malabar on Thursday early hours the previous week.
- At the Waterloo address, authorities detained a 26-year-old male who they claimed played a "leading role" in the group.
- He was charged with multiple crimes including holding child exploitation content, distributing abusive material, and spreading and owning bestiality content.
- Bail was denied to face court proceedings last Friday.
Additional Arrests
In an apartment complex in the Malabar area, detectives took into custody three men aged 46, forty-two and 39.
Additionally they were charged with possession of child abuse material and additional offenses.
The four individuals are due to return to court at a later date.
