Tehran is ready to resume atomic talks with Washington on condition that it is handled with "respect" and "respect", Tehran's foreign minister has stated.

The Iranian diplomat said solely negotiations was effective, and revealed recent overtures had been made by mediators to resume negotiations with the American leadership. The previous five rounds of discussions between the US and Iran were concluded unexpectedly and hostile conclusion on 12 June when the Israeli government, with American backing, attacked Iran's enrichment centers in a 12-day war that culminated with Donald Trump asserting the sites had been destroyed. Afterward, EU nations used their authority to restore UN-wide sanctions, but Iran asserts they have not had a major impact.

Iranian officials said they felt they had reached a "perfect agreement" to the uranium processing matter in prior discussions, when it was agreed an domestic cooperative with Washington's engagement could enrich uranium. Each party would have been able to assert triumph since domestic enrichment would have continued and the US could be certain that Iran's nuclear programme was entirely non-military.

It had not been agreed in the discussions that American atomic experts could function inside Iran, but that was a logical implication of the consortium proposal. In his remarks to the forum, designed to depict the US as a dominant force that misuses the idea of global regulations, Araghchi said the two-week conflict demonstrated the conflict could not be settled by combat operations. He said the attacks commenced with a American requirement for an total Iran submission and concluded with an absolute demand for a ceasefire.

Iran is convinced the initial Israeli attacks were carried out with complete American awareness and coordination, making confidence hard to rebuild.

He continued: "We successfully passed this engagement. Our enrichment knowledge, which they planned to destroy, remains in place. The sites and gear, if eliminated, will be reconstructed; what is crucial is the determination of the nation of Iran and then the social solidarity that they targeted, but were unable to shatter. The nation of Iran have become stronger, more integrated, and more endorsing of the leadership and the country in the face of this invasion."
