A Pair of Individuals Arrested Regarding Phone Hidden in House of Commons to Allegedly Broadcast Inappropriate Sounds During Prime Minister's Questions
Law enforcement have taken into custody a duo of individuals related to a mobile phone found hidden within the House of Commons, which was allegedly intended to emit inappropriate audio throughout the weekly parliamentary session.

This phone was located near the government benches in the course of a routine sweep of the chamber. Authorities suspect it was meant to interrupt the keynote weekly showdown between Keir Starmer and Kemi Badenoch in the autumn month.
An official spokesperson commented, “At 10.25 on that specific date, a device was found while conducting a standard inspection of the parliamentary hall.”
Arrests and Charges
Investigations suggested that the phone was deliberately placed in a spot with the aim of causing disruption to business in the chamber.
- An individual in his 30s was arrested on Friday 5 September on suspicion of attempting to intentionally cause a disturbance.
- Another man in his sixties was arrested on the following Tuesday on allegations of the same offence.

The House of Lords took the same decision to reduce access to the their debating area “as a precautionary measure.”
